Education has long been an area of success for American veterans. Connecting qualified veteran student candidates with college and university admissions is a start but it takes continued support to ensure graduation – the goal. Our veterans have so much to offer college campuses across the nation; making higher education accessible is a step toward building a better tomorrow.
Whether you’re interested in studying liberal arts, design, science, engineering, business or technology, there are resources available to help.
Ahmanson Veteran Scholarship Initiative
RECRUIT • RETAIN • EDUCATE. The AVSI provides funding to twenty-four private colleges and institutions in California with a goal toward enrolling, supporting and graduating more student veterans.
One More Veteran Pledge
Twenty-four private California Colleges and Universities joined together in unprecedented solidarity to make one simple pledge: To do everything in their power to admit at least one more veteran in the coming year, than they had in the previous year. The One More Veteran pledge demonstrates a commitment to recruiting, retaining, educating and graduating student veterans. It is a nationwide reminder to both admissions directors and to returning veterans - of the value of veterans on our campuses and in our classroom.
Let’s make it easy. You want to go back to college – not make a career of navigating through hundreds of “resource” websites – we can help. We’ve done the navigating so you can focus on getting the education you deserve.
